Welcome to Animaltastic Henlow. Our store within Henlow is our third store to open and is set inside Perfect Aquatics. Currently, our largest store, Henlow is home to a wide selection of our bird species and also some of our more unusual exotics and reptiles. 


On the shop floor, you will find everything you need for all aspects of pet ownership. We stock a wide variety of dog foods and specialise in premium foods to ensure your pet has all the nutrients within a balanced diet to keep them fit and healthy. We also stock a wide range of small pet foods and treats for all budgets. Our variety will ensure there is always something to suit your pet's needs. 


On the shop floor, you will also find a wide variety of pet accessories and toys. Our knowledgeable staff are fully qualified to give all the help and advice that you could need. Most have various pets themselves and can give personal recommendations of products that they have used themselves. 

 

 

This Room is sure to impress you during your visit. Home to our small pets including hamsters, gerbils, mice, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits and many more. Our staff are on hand to ensure that you have all the help and advice you need when looking for which pet would suit your needs and lifestyle. Many of our rodents are bred by ourselves to ensure we can home high quality animals and avoid the use of rodent farms. 


This area is also home to our wide selection of cages for all of the animals which we have available and more! We would be more than happy to point out some of our top sellers as well as looking at your personal needs and budget. We are sure you will find a house to suit you and your new pet. 


Our hay and straw bays will help you to find all the products that you require for eating and bedding. Our hay, straw and shavings are of the highest quality and at extremely low prices. Buy in bulk and save even more money. 

As you leave the back of the animal room, you will head into our specifically designed bird room. The first thing you will notice is the noisy chattering of our wide variety of bird species. These will range from finches, doves, canaries, quail, budgies, cockatiels and other types of parakeet.  


Most birds will be found within our purpose built aviaries, giving them lots of space for flight and play. These birds are all in social groups to ensure they are happy and content. 


Our highly knowledgeable staff will be able to give advice on our aviary bird selection as well as help look for any companion birds which are well suited for home living. Let them know what you are looking for in a bird species and we will do our upmost to help with your pet bird selection. We can also go through our wide range of cages to make sure you get the right one too! 

Our reptile area is our biggest area within the main shop floor. Visit our live reptile  area to see the diverse number of reptile, amphibian and invert species which can be kept as pets. Many of these species will make good pets for someone starting out with an exotic pet. Other species will suit the advanced keeper who will have more experience with such animals. 


This area is also home to our wide selection of vivariums and terrariums. Other items such as tortoise tables and custom built vivarium ordering can also be found within this area. We also stock all the lighting and heat units you could possibiliy need for your new exotic pet and offer all the help and advice that goes with it to ensure that you create the perfect exhibit.

COVID UPDATE: Although our stores are currently open, we ask that you only come in if you require products, help or advice. During busy periods, queues are likely to build and to ensure we can protect our store, we ask that all customers only use us when they need us. Animal sales can be completed with social distance measures in place. Animal areas remain closed for browsing. Due to limited demand, we now have to charge for pet transport boxes. These will start at 85p. We advice to bring your own suitable carrier when purchasing  live animal. Please call for further information.
