ProRep Leo Life Substrate 10 Kg is part of the species-specific “Life” series, formulated for Leopard Geckos and other desert reptiles. Its blend of sand and soil mimics natural desert habitats, encouraging behaviours such as digging, foraging, and exploring. The mix reduces the risk of impaction compared to pure sand while allowing the creation of localized humidity zones for hydration and shedding, supporting healthy, natural activity in arid species.

Spread evenly over the base of the vivarium to the desired depth. Use rocks, wood, or décor to create varied landscape and substrate depth. Spray water under hides or in specific areas to create local humidity zones. Spot clean daily, replacing soiled substrate with a small amount of fresh material. Complete substrate changes should be carried out every eight weeks or sooner if heavily soiled. Avoid over-wetting and exposure to electrical equipment. For night-time heating, use wall- or ceiling-mounted heat mats, hot rocks, or ceramic heaters, and limit substrate depth if using under-tank heat mats to prevent overheating.nt.
